Pytchley News Updates

One of our governors Kate Boniface-Allen has been coordinating donations for Ukrainian. We have offered the school as a collection point for these goods and have been overwhelmed by the kind and generous donations for this cause.

We would like to thank you for these kind donations which are being regularly collected from the school and eventually distributed to those in need.

If you would still like to donate please leave items from the following list in the main school office:

  • Nappies and wipes
  • Sanitary products
  • Thermal clothes
  • Candles
  • Power banks and batteries
  • Painkillers
  • Basic first aid
  • Warm blankets
  • Face masks and hand gel
  • Dog and cat food
  • Toys and magazines
  • Sweets/treats and cereal bars

We pray for a swift end to hostilities and a return to peace.

The school has received a lottery grant in order to improve the EYFS outside area. This work has now been completed and the children are really excited to be able to use this new provision really soon. Picture will follow of the children enjoying this new area. We now have astro turf covering the area, a fixed chalk board and water tray, moveable blocks and a covered area. This will be excellent for the children to explore and learn further along with the exsisting mud kitchen and mud garden.

Watch this space to see how we use our new area.

Here is a lovely video we put together to show you around our brilliant school!
